LiveAction Announces LiveUX to Extend Visibility of Application Performance in the Cloud

New Product Enables Monitoring of Web-Based Applications from Anywhere

SANTA CLARA, Calif., June 2, 2015 – LiveAction, an innovative company known for its patented, award-winning visibility and network experience platform for large enterprises, announced today the release of LiveUX, a new software product designed to bridge network performance and application performance visibility into the public network. With LiveUX, IT organizations now have the ability to understand what users are experiencing with cloud and SaaS applications, such as SalesForce, Box.com, Google Docs, Microsoft Office365, Cisco WebEx, and custom services deployed in any cloud over any network.

The Hawaii Department of Education, the tenth largest school district in the U.S., has been testing LiveUX for network performance monitoring and end-user experience monitoring to quickly isolate and resolve perceived slow-downs in the network to ensure success of over more than 175,000 students. K-12 schools are migrating their common core standard testing, school entrance exams, and new digital learning experiences to cloud platforms. The challenge for IT and network teams in that environment is to know, when test day hits, that everything will go smoothly.

“Today, we are witnessing an unprecedented convergence between the network and the rapid adoption in the use of SaaS-based enterprise applications. This is creating new IT problems,” said Darren T. Kimura, CEO and chairman of LiveAction. “We are known for our visibility and control platform and today we extend our reach with LiveUX, which is designed to help our customers maintain visibility and enable user productivity when using cloud-based applications.”

“Over the past few years, there has been a shift in problem areas across the enterprise IT environment. Today, SaaS-based applications dominate the workforce and LiveUX has the ability to keep the workforce working,” said Drew Martin, former senior vice president and chief information officer of Sony, Inc.

Managing user experience has direct impact on revenue and productivity, or student success in the case of web-based educational materials and testing. LiveUX gives organizations the tool needed to identify and troubleshoot issues occurring in the new hybrid IT environments made up of these managed and unmanaged domains. Pinpointing the location, scale, and scope of user experience issues dramatically reduces potential downtime and lost productivity.

LiveUX will be available for evaluation and purchase in July, 2015. For more information visit http://www.liveaction.com/ux.
